System Administrator/DevOps

We are looking for a System Administrator/DevOps who is well-versed in Linux, and has strong security skills. We use CentOS7/Rocky9 specifically but experience in any Linux flavor is welcome.

In a nutshell, the successful candidate will be helping us maintain customer installations of our product and will be responsible for IT operations to deliver high-quality software in an efficient, reliable, and secure manner. Our product is based on a highly customized ELK stack, so previous experience in setting up and maintaining Elasticsearch on Linux servers is favorable.

Typically, your responsibilities will include:

• Automating and optimizing the software delivery process to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

• Collaborating with development teams to ensure that code changes are deployed properly across our client base.

• Configuring and managing infrastructure and services to support software deployment and scaling.

• Monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics to identify and address issues proactively.

• Developing and implementing security controls.

• Participating in incident response and resolution activities as needed.
  
  

The position is Malta-based (EU) and may require on-site work. 

Ideally you'd have:

• 1-2 years of previous SysAdmin experience

• intermediate level
  
  

Must have:

• mad Linux skills;

• Bash scripting experience;

• monitoring experience;

• Docker experience;

• web server maintenance experience.
  
  

Big plus:

• ElasticSearch experience;

• Postgres maintenance experience;

• Ansible;

• InfluxDB monitoring;

• Nginx experience.

Nice to have:

• Python skills.
