What We Need
We are looking for a System Administrator (EU only) who is well-versed in Linux, and has strong security skills. We use CentOS specifically but experience in any Linux flavor is welcome.
In a nutshell, the successful candidate will be helping us maintain customer installations of our product and will be responsible for IT operations to deliver high-quality software in an efficient, reliable, and secure manner. Our product is based on a highly customized ELK stack, so previous experience in setting up and maintaining Elasticsearch on Linux servers is favorable.
Typically, your responsibilities will include:
Automating and optimizing the software delivery process to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Collaborating with development teams to ensure that code changes are deployed properly across our client base.
Configuring and managing infrastructure and services to support software deployment and scaling.
Monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics to identify and address issues proactively.
Developing and implementing security controls.
Participating in incident response and resolution activities as needed.
The position is Malta-based (EU) however you will be working remotely. We have flexible hours, however, availability during EU office hours is important.
P.S. don't expect "flexible hours" to mean we're going to make you work on weekends or at night, just hit your targets and you'll fit right in!
Who You Are
Ideally you'd have:
1-2 years of previous SysAdmin experience
mad Linux skills;
Bash scripting experience;
web server maintenance experience.
Postgres maintenance experience;
